Edith-Stein-Realschule.

The project is an extension of the existing elementary school. Our firm was contracted by Max Bögl, a construction company that focuses on the pre fabrication of modular structures and units. Classrooms, storage rooms, bathrooms and a new staircase were embedded in these modular units and assembled on site efficiently. Working primarily in the earlier design phases and detail planning (HOAI LP 1,2,3,5), facade designs were created and discusses with the team and client. Coordination with various trades and fire inspection was a challenge as well given the size of the project. Shop drawings were reviewed by me to ensure total compliance with the design plans and details. Given the small size of this project, as well as its modular structure, the assembly and construction on site was smooth and on time within budget. The construction supervision was subcontracted to a general contractor and superintendent in Bavaria, where the project is located. Regular communication with the contractor was maintained throughout the project.
